Achievement Centers for Children is a Cleveland, Ohio based non-profit organization that is nationally recognized for its excellence in helping children with disabilities and their families achieve and thrive.
SUMMARY The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for creating; maintaining and entering in Office Manager all pertinent data for the Autism Programs. The administrative assistant will facilitate and process all purchase orders for the Education Department, support the Vice President of Education Services and staff with all data and records that pertain to the Education Department.
ONGOING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Promote a positive image by representing the Education Department and the Achievement Centers for Children in a courteous, professional manner.
2. Adhere to all Policies/Procedures in the Achievement Centers for Children Staff Handbook
3. Promote a team approach within each program and throughout the agency
4. Work in family-centered partnerships with the individuals and families served by the Achievement Centers for Children
5. Practice safe work habits and contributes to ensuring a safe and healthful work environment
a. Ensure the safe, efficient and organized delivery of program support
b. Practice appropriate safety techniques related in Infection Control and Universal Precautions
6. Attend continuing education courses/workshops to keep abreast of new software program and office management that will enhance office systems for the Education Department
7. Foster and maintains good public relations with all community sources
8. Conduct self with professional dignity; understands the importance of good human relation; able to motivate others; and possesses initiative and good judgment.

Experience working in human resource/schools in the focus of office administration/support.
Familiarity with special education compliance under IDEA.
