Occupational Therapist (OT) - School Based

Department: Education-Autism
Location: Westlake, OH

Occupational therapist will be working in our on-site classroom together with a team of educators and a speech therapist. The ideal candidate for this open position is an occupational therapist or a COTA who has experience working with children diagnosed with autism in a classroom environment.

Location: Westlake

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy for licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team approach

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy to students in the Autism classroom onsite.
  • Collaborate, consult, and plan with other team members
  • Attend supervision, departmental, and agency meetings.
  • Provide supervision to volunteers and students as assigned.
  • Attend continuing education opportunities to maintain current licensure.
  • Participate with supervisor in developing and implementing a plan for professional growth aligned with annual performance evaluation and agency goals.
  • Serve on agency committees.
