As a support specialist , you will deliver specialized behavioral intervention services and support to eligible individual with disabilities while working within a multi-disciplinary team setting. Additionally, you will have primary responsibility for organizing and implementing a weekend respite programs once a month for individuals with disabilities. This position will provide support and consultation to other programs as needed.

Requirements:

1. Successful completion of a specialized Behavioral Management training or Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education/Special Education, Counseling, Social Work or related field from an accredited program.

2. Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience working directly with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and complex family systems through providing behavioral management strategies, skill-building instruction and crisis intervention in a home, school, or clinical setting.
