Make a real difference in a setting built for kids
If you are looking for a part time SLP role where therapy is playful, family guided, and clinically strong, this is the role. Our clinic is designed for children and young adults and supports a wide range of communication needs including AAC, sign language, and play based approaches that help kids build skills while having fun.

About Achievement Centers for Children
Achievement Centers for Children is a Cleveland, Ohio based nonprofit that is nationally recognized for helping children with disabilities and their families achieve and thrive. Working here is both personally meaningful and professionally rewarding.

About the Program
Our pediatric speech and language pathologists diagnose and treat a wide variety of communication disorders and support children and young adults in improving language, speech, and communication skills. We use child centered, play based techniques and alternative communication methods when appropriate including sign language and computer aided communication.

Our therapy spaces are designed for engagement and comfort with toys, books, balls, and hands on materials that make sessions active and fun. Treatment plans are created with input from the child’s family and care team, monitored regularly, and adjusted as the child’s needs, abilities, and interests evolve. We also provide customized home programs so parents and caregivers can support progress between visits.

As a multidisciplinary clinic, our physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists collaborate on evaluations to determine if ACC is the best fit for each client based on factors such as the level of physical and intellectual disability and our ability to accommodate needs with current equipment and facility setup.
