Senior Staff Accountant
Department: Finance & Operations
This position will be moving to the Westlake location in February 2026
Pay Range: $51,200 to $64,000
The Achievement Centers for Children, a Cleveland-based nonprofit, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This position supports budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and audit preparation while maintaining compliance with fiscal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and analyses.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
Oversee payroll functions and maintain fixed asset records.
Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and special projects.
Qualifications:
CPA required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
5+ years of general ledger/accounting experience.
Advanced Excel and QuickBooks proficiency.
Experience with payroll for 75–150 employees.
