At Achievement Centers for Children (ACC), we empower children and adults with disabilities to reach their greatest potential. Our Therapeutic Riding program provides life-changing experiences through equine-assisted activities, and we’re seeking a Therapeutic Riding Instructor to join our Recreation Programs team.

What You’ll Do:

• Teach safe, goal-oriented equine-based lessons that support participant growth and independence

• Develop individualized student goals and track progress

• Manage lesson preparation, tack selection, mounting/dismounting, and safety protocols

• Supervise and mentor volunteers assisting in lessons

• Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to ensure a positive experience

• Maintain orderly barn areas and safe, well-kept equipment

What We’re Looking For:

• PATH Intl. Registered Instructor certification (required)

• Proven horsemanship skills

• CPR and First Aid certification

• Strong organizational, communication, and public relations skills

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and outdoors in all weather

Preferred:

• Experience working with individuals in therapeutic riding programs

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Prior supervisory or management experience
