Therapeutic Riding Instructor
Achievement Centers for Children – Recreation Programs
Schedule: PRN

At Achievement Centers for Children (ACC), we empower children and adults with disabilities to reach their greatest potential. Our Therapeutic Riding program provides life-changing experiences through equine-assisted activities, and we’re seeking a Therapeutic Riding Instructor to join our Recreation Programs team.
What You’ll Do:
Teach safe, goal-oriented equine-based lessons that support participant growth and independence
Develop individualized student goals and track progress
Manage lesson preparation, tack selection, mounting/dismounting, and safety protocols
Supervise and mentor volunteers assisting in lessons
Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to ensure a positive experience
Maintain orderly barn areas and safe, well-kept equipment
What We’re Looking For:
PATH Intl. Registered Instructor certification (required)
Proven horsemanship skills
CPR and First Aid certification
Strong organizational, communication, and public relations skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and outdoors in all weather
Preferred:
Experience working with individuals in therapeutic riding programs
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Prior supervisory or management experience
