Our team is currently seeking a Clinical Social Worker II within Behavioral Health (BH) Department. This is a full-time position and will provide clinical mental health assessments, counseling, service coordination, screening and intake, education, consultation, information and referral, and advocacy. Works in partnership with clients and families, the ACC interdisciplinary team, and community providers to identify and address issues of concern in order to ensure the most effective services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides psychosocial assessments, including ability to diagnose psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders.
  • Conducts screenings through client/family interviews.
  • Provides behavioral health counseling and interventions based on client’s needs identified within Individualized Service Plan.
  • Collaborate with internal and/or external service providers to support progress toward identified goals and objectives within Individualized Service Plan.
  • Facilitates community linkages, outreach, education, advocacy and networking to promote and enhance behavioral health programming and services.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of three (3) years post master’s in clinical experience.
  • Licensure in the State of Ohio as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of community resources, preferred.
  • Cultural competency is essential, and bilingual ability is a plus.
